1. I found this photograph off of flickr.

2. I could not find the photography of this picture.
3. The date when this photograph was taken could also not be found.

4. I really like this picture. There are so many of my favorite things incorporated. If I could be anywhere in the world I would be at the beach. My parents have always said that Iwill live somewhere warm because I love the sun so much. It makes me feel so warm and happy. The sun setting on a beach reminds me of some great vacations I have had with my family. The little girl in this picture reminds me a lot of myself which I also really like about this picture. There is nothing more relaxing and peaceful then walking on the beach and watching the sunset. This photograph captures this feeling beautifuly. I love the glossy reflection in the sand. You cant beat the feeling of sand inbetween your toes. The colors of the sunset is absolutly breath taking. When I was little I used to want to take a picture of every sunset, this one would be no exception. The colors just flow into each other again creating this over all feeling of peace and calmness. Another one of my favoirte things about this photograph is the essence of wind in the little girl's hair and dress. It makes the picture have movement and adds character.
5. The lighting used in this picture is natural sun light. The light is not very intense giving the photograph a subtle feeling and little contrast, the colors of the sunset just melt into eachother. If this picture would have been taken in broad dayight the overall feeling would not be as enchanting. Lighting has a great affect on the feeling of the picture. The natural light adds so much to this particualr photograph such as, warm colors and cool reflections. The sun is almost set not shining of a lot of rays but just enough rays to capture this beautiful picture.

6. This unown photographer used the composition skills of lines, color, and shape. There are so many lines in this picture. These include where the sand meets the water, where the water meets the sky, and the different colors in the sky. Also where the wave is crashing on the surface of the ocean creates another line. The shape present in this picture is the giant circle known as the sun. I also think the rays projecting from the sun create a upside orange triangle that is somewhat visible. The last element I have already explain. Colors are present throughout this picture from the orange and purple in the sky to the blue-ish gray visible in the water to the white of the crashing waves and the pink of the little girls dress. I believe this picture also contains the rule of thirds. The little girl lies directly on a vertical line and the crashing waves lies on a horizontal line. This picture is filled with compostion skills making it a great and intriguing photograph. I believe the emphasis created by the photographer is the little girl and I think the person who took this photo was sucessful in creating this emphasis because my eye is immediatly drawn to her. I believe this emphasis was created by her position and her dark shadow and composition compaired to the rest of picture.

7. I believe the photographer is trying to communicate the gracful haven a beach can be for people. It can be a place to think and get away from it all. For these photography blogs I have almost always chosen a picture of nature. That is because I absolutly love the organic beauty of it and I think there is few places more beautiful than the beach. I believe the photographer was trying to make a comparision between the huge ocean that goes on for miles and the little girl. Sometimes the ocean makes you think about the reality of the world and its immense size and the fact that you make up part of the world. I think the photogrpaher was sucessful in communicating their message because of how the picture is taken. The little girl looks big because she is closer to the camera, but if you look behind her the ocean looks like it goes on forever. The small sun in the background makes it even more clear that the ocean is big and that there are a lot bigger things in life than ourselves.
